South-East Asia(SEA) is made up of many countries.they are singapore, malaysia, indonesia, thailand, india..... we are part of SEA also.Channel News Asia has a news show on SEA too.thats all i know(:
i want to know more about the history of SEA..

i feel that the commemoration of total defence day is relevent. total defence day reminds us of our past.but i think that the reading of the message is a waste of time and it is super boring!Most of the pupils would not bother listening to the boring speech:)Might as well photcopy the speech and let the pupils read, isn't that a better and faster way?
i think to make total defence more meaningful, we should have field trips to learn about total defence instead, or have performances that teaches us about total defence.we should host some activities like shown on the website:http://www.totaldefence.sg/imindef/mindef_websites/topics/totaldefence/news_events/events/explorally06.html
so pupils would not feel that total defence day is a complete boredom.
but then, total defence is not that important unlike the national day.so you must not stress so much on it.

I feel that the treaty of Versailles was NOT FAIR. The rules set were too harsh for the Germans. For example, they need to pay a total of 6600 million euros which is like impossible.Yes, they can be strict towards them but not this harsh.Many people were jobless and moneyless because of this rule, and many people were living through times of poverty.I pity all the small kids as their childhood would be wasted.Instead of having a nice house where you can play and bond with your family, everyday they must help out with the household chores while their parents go out finding for jobs just to support their children.Many people thus suffered during this period and some even die of poverty.I feel that the treaty of Versailles were asking too much from the Germans.
